The Music Desktop is divided into two major areas: the button bar and the music list.
The button bar is the row of large pictures across the top of the window. They are in order: new song, open, save, play, edit, remove (from music list.) To stop playing a song, click on the play button which should be labeled “Stop.”
The music list is the box below the button bar and offset to the right. Here each opened song is listed. Each song is listed by name, size and playing time. The button below the music list alphabetizes the list. To the left of this button is a memory graph showing how much memory is used/free. Clicking on this graph displays more specific information.
To the left of the music list is an information area that displays the number of voices, instrument, and patterns in the current song (the song selected in the music list.)
